Directions from Leicester Railway station and Bus stations to the TCS meeting venue Trinity Methodist Church Hall, Narborough Road, Leicester.

A taxi from the railway or bus stations will be about a 10/15 minute journey, costing perhaps £8 each way.

From Leicester railway station, turn right going past the statue of Thomas Cook ( the world’s first railway excursion left from this station ), go through the underpass, then walk for about 10 minutes along Granby St then Gallowtree Gate past the clock tower towards The Haymarket Theatre

Or catch the 44 single decker bus to the Haymarket Bus Station on Charles St and then walk through the shopping centre. Your bus stop is about 50 yards from the clock tower – a local landmark.

Catch the 50 or 51single deck Arriva bus to Narborough Road, at stand H4 or H5 outside a Moben Bathroom and Kitchen shop ( ask for Evesham Road  or Fulhurst Avenue ). These services run every 10 minutes or so. The journey is probably 2-3 miles, taking perhaps 15 minutes.

After about a mile and a half after crawling along a street full of small shops you’ll go under a steel bridge carrying the Leicester - Burton freight line. Around half a mile from passing underneath this and going up a slight rise there is a large white building on the right hand side  which is now a KFC establishment and DIY store. Get off at the next stop.

The Church and Halls are at the fork of Narborough Road and Hallam Crescent a bit further on. There is usually a TCS banner visible from some distance.

St Margaret's bus station ( for long haul passengers ) is about a 5 minute walk to stop H4 and H5
